We mourn the death of Tiara Love Tori Jackson, a 37-year-old Black transgender woman who was shot and killed in a hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, September 26.

Minnesota Supreme Court rules transgender athlete ban is discrimination but opens door to further challenges
The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled in favor of trans athlete JayCee Cooper after she was discriminated against during a women’s powerlifting competition. The organization known as USA Powerlifting barred JayCee from competing in their competitions which was ruled to be a violation of Minnesota’s Human Rights Act.
Alderperson Jesse Fuentes Sues The Federal Government
Alderperson Jesse Fuentes is pursuing legal action against the Federal Government after being handcuffed while asking the agents if they had a warrant for the person they were pursuing inside the ER of Humboldt Park Health.
