Beyoncé officially released her seventh solo studio album, ‘Renaissance’, on Friday. Made during the pandemic, the album is a celebration of freedom and a complete immersion into house and ‘disco trap’, that celebrates themes of liberation, release, and unfiltered confidence across its 16 tracks. Daé, our producer, caught up with a few friends who also happen to be seasoned musicians, to talk about all things ‘Renaissance’. He was joined by pianist & songwriter Andre Jamal, singer/songwriter Kamar, model & opera singer Seyquan Mack, flautist and rapper Zaya Moore, and singer/songwriter–as well a founding member of the Beyhive– Toryn Aubrey.
